We pride ourselves on our ability to provide our clients with the personal service which they have come to expect from being a Clintons’ client, the technical expertise required and the commercial awareness borne of many years' experience in the property sector. We aim to deliver comprehensive and effective advice that adds value to our clients' activities.
Clients range from banks and other lenders, to high profile and high net worth individuals (both onshore and offshore), investors and trust companies as well as many well-known businesses. Beyond our clients, we have a very wide range of contacts in the property industry, including valuers, surveyors and agents, with whom we work closely to ensure that our clients receive the best comprehensive advice possible.
The team consists of Principal James Nethercot, Senior Associates Orla Burke and Saima Saeed and Associate Lucy Briggs.
We are very fortunate to also have the expertise of senior statesmen of the profession, Michael Goldman and Laurence Middleweek, who qualified in 1973 and 1969 respectively, and who bring wise counsel drawn from many years of practising property law at the highest and most demanding level.

Training Contracts
We usually recruit two trainee solicitors a year, for training contracts to commence in September.
We look to recruit two years in advance. The recruitment process for 2025 is now closed. The period during which applications are invited for Training Contracts beginning in 2026 commences on 1 March 2024 and ends on 31 May 2024. Early applications during this period are encouraged.
