Paul Newton

Partner, Family

Paul Newton is a partner in the firm's family department. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2003, joined Clintons in 2004 and was made a partner in 2011. He has specialised in family law since qualification and is very experienced in all aspects of family law, with a particular emphasis on the resolution of complex financial disputes arising from divorce and a well-established practice in pre and post-nuptial agreements.  Paul is consistently ranked in both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.

In 2017, Paul was elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, https://www.iafl.com/ making him one of the youngest Fellows in the United Kingdom.
