Clintons is the pre-eminent music law firm.

Music is a fundamental part of Clintons' practice and has been since the firm’s foundation some 60 years ago.  Clintons has helped shape today's music industry through its clients and the transactions and cases with which it has been involved.

The firm acts for well established artists and those just embarking on their careers. Established artist clients include The Who, The Cure, Radiohead, Paul Weller, Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, Aphex Twin, Chrissie Hynde, Muse, Stereophonics, Bloc Party, Graham Coxon, The Kooks, James Morrison, The Script, Vampire Weekend, Plan B, Laura Marling and James Blake while newer artist clients include James Bay, Bastille, Royal Blood, Daughter and the 1975. We also represent many of the world's most successful producers, songwriters and managers.

We actively support the development of new talent and each year we select a few unsigned or unmanaged artists from the very many that approach us.

If matters become contentious, Clintons has the most highly regarded specialist music litigation practice in the UK.

The team consists of Assistant Solicitors Nick Weaser, Halina Wielogorska, Callie Matthews and Alastair Kenwood, and Partners Nicky Stein, Andrew Myers, Peter Button and Berkeley Edwards.
