Karim leads the firm’s litigation & dispute resolution practice.
Karim deals with a broad range of disputes in the creative industries and sports (intellectual property and contractual disputes, as well as regulatory and disciplinary proceedings) acting for prominent individuals, as well as leading corporate entities. He also has a thriving general commercial litigation practice with particular experience of complex shareholder and LLP disputes, and senior executive ‘exits’.
Karim is a contributing author to the textbook Football and the Law.
Before qualifying as a lawyer, he spent 10 years as a successful music promoter.
Karim read international relations at the University of Sussex. He then obtained a master’s degree in UK, EU and US law of copyright at King’s College London. He is fluent in French.
Karim qualified as a solicitor in 2005.
