Philip leads the firm’s Commercial, Brands and Charity practices.
He advises a wide variety of clients on their business and commercial affairs, including leading advertising and marketing services businesses, charities, event owners and management companies, luxury brands, fashion designers, authors, artists and art dealers, digital media and publishing businesses and sports people (including Olympic medal winners).
Philip is Chair of Trustees of Swimathon Foundation, the charity that owns Swimathon, the world’s largest pool based fund-raising swim. He is a member of the newly constituted independent European Athletics Court and is the author of the legal section of the European Sponsorship Association’s Diploma qualification. He is recognised in the Legal 500 for his work in brand management, media and entertainment and sport and is one of the top recommended lawyers in the 2022 Spear’s Corporate Law Index.
