The work the Team undertakes is complex and high profile and includes:-

Contractual arrangements and disputes: sponsorship (event, broadcast and otherwise), endorsement agreements, event management agreements, event broadcast production and sales (television, radio and new media), the protection and exploitation of commercial rights in sport, licenses for the use of sporting imagery, and terms of business for suppliers of sports goods and services,

Constitutional, Regulatory and Disciplinary: drafting, interpretation and representation in relation to the various rules and regulations governing sport, including in relation to doping, gambling integrity, and other disciplinary issues.

Brand protection and exploitation: advising on copyright, design rights, trade and service marks, domain names and other rights in sport based on intellectual property.

Services for individual sports people: immigration (UK and US), residential property, invasions of privacy, relations with the media, harassment, family and matrimonial matters (including pre-nuptial agreements), wills and other personal arrangements. Clintons brings the benefit of its extensive experience of acting for prominent individuals in the public eye to advising sports people unused to dealing with the attention of the media and the general public.

Corporate work: start ups, MBOs, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and employment issues for sports businesses.
