Andrew’s practice encompasses a very broad spectrum of contentious issues, from music to privacy and reputation management to theatre, film, television, sports, advertising, gaming and data and technology industries. His clients include internationally known musicians, artists, film and television production companies, major recording and publishing companies, brand owners and creatives, tech and gaming companies, sporting personalities, actors, actresses and television presenters and the managers and agents of all these professionals.

He has a track record in landmark litigation, including representing Sony Music in the litigation brought unsuccessfully by George Michael; representing EMI Music Publishing in a landmark Court of Appeal decision on reversionary rights under the 1911 Copyright Act; and in successfully bringing a substantial, international trademark action for W3Limited against easyGroup.

Andrew has brought and defended actions for Robert Smith(The Cure), Nigel Martin-Smith (the founding manager of Take That), Disclosure, Radiohead, Syco, Universal, BMG, Imagem Music Publishing and numerous other household names.

Andrew read law at Cambridge University.

Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1988.
